Somethin' Else

No matter what I offer Yisrael to eat, he ALWAYS wants "somethin' else". It gets quite aggravating at times, because he'll complain that he's hungry, and I'll offer him half a dozen things, but he keeps refusing, saying he wants the elusive "somethin' else"!

One day I came to pick him up from Cheder, and he had fallen asleep on the bench while he was waiting. I picked him up, and while he was still half asleep, he tells me- "Mommy, I'm hungry- I want to eat somethin' else!"

Well yesterday we solved the "something else" mystery.

He's been learning about Brachos in Cheder, and he's been bringing home lots of coloring sheets with picture of food on them. Well Yisrael came over to me, with a picture of cake, and says to me proudly, "Look Mommy, I made somethin' else in Cheder!"
