Often, when I go to pick Yisrael up from Cheder, the street is crowded with Bais Yaakov girls (there are two different girls schools right next to the cheder, which are all up the block from us). It's like a sea of blue!
Well, any of you who have seen my stroller can imagine why it must be hard to get thru the crowds (its pretty wide!) Often, the girls are standing around talking, or playing jumprope, and I have to say "Slicha" a few times before they move aside so I can get past them.
Well on Erev Shabbos, when I was walking home with the kids, I heard a cute little voice from the stroller, saying "Slicha" every time we came to another crowd of girls- Bruria is very proud of her new word!
