One erev Shabbos (was it almost three weeks ago?) I let Yisrael play out in the empty lot next to our yard. At one point, he came to the front door (he climbed up the mountain and then came back down and around to the house), shlepping a long plank of wood. He then brought out a bucket of water, and proceeded to make "cement", which he then began to smear onto the piece of wood. I asked him what he was doing- "I'm making a building", he said, in a completely serious tone of voice (the Bais Yaakov next door to us is adding on, so Yisrael has been observing the Israeli method of building- they put together a wooden frame, and then fill it with cement!)
I stopped the video just a second too soon- right after I stopped the camera, he pointed to himself and told me, "This truck wants to eat a peckela (goody bag)!"
