In honor of Rosh Chodesh Iyar, today we had a yummy treat- ice cream! The kids were all excited, as this was our first ice cream of the season- what a special treat for a special day! Even Nissim got to chew on a cone- he was very happy to be one of the crowd!
Aren't they yummy? (I mean the kids, not the ice cream cones!)

I notice that Nissim is NOT smiling... he was majorly gypped! Whats a cone without ice cream... almost as bad as a jew without good middos!
I've actually given Nissim ice cream a few times (as advised by the speech therapist in Shalva- to get his mouth used to d/f temperatures)- and you should see the faces he makes- first he makes this awful face as he feels the cold, but then once he tastes the ice cream, he licks his lips and looks for more!
so that should be a good way to fatten him up! Certainly works for the rest of us!
