Today the kids were playing "מצרים" (playing house is just too docile for my lively bunch) - they each put a shmatta on their head (nowadays Egypt is an Arabic country, but I don't know if the מצריים were Arabs- and even if they were, I somehow doubt they wore khafias!) and were walking around telling each other to work. They looked like they were having fun, and it seemed pretty harmless (relatively) so I tried to quickly put some supper together while they were keeping themselves occupied.
Suddenly, I hear them saying, "let's throw him into the יאור!" - I quickly spun around and saw Yisrael, Bruria, and AS carrying Nissim (who was B"H strapped into his rocker) towards the rug, which I guess they decided was the יאור.
I quickly put that part of the game to a stop- if you want to play מצרים, that's fine with me, as long as you don't use my precious, delicate baby as a prop!

Oy Vey- they are too much! Maybe I should take it as a lesson to always strap Meir Simcha, but for some reason I don't think Shifra would come up with such great ideas... b"H!
YOISH!
Oy!!
another reason to have girl babies - "v'chol habas t'chayun!"
