Our model airplane

Yisrael has a new obsession with airplanes. As soon as he wakes up in the morning, all he wants to do is build airplanes with his Clics. And as soon as he comes back from Cheder, he's busy at it again- why eat lunch?! And for a bedtime story, it had better be about an airplane or he will NOT be satisfied.

So the other day when I was in the toy store, I saw a kit to make a model airplane. The price was right, so I figured that it would be a fun activity one afternoon! Yisrael and Bruria got to paint the different parts, and then we glued them together (really the instructions said the pieces were just supposed to click together, but the pieces were not perfectly cut - I guess that's what you get for buying cheap Chinese airplane kits!)

The kids are having fun making it fly- one day I might even give them a thrill, by tying it to the ceiling fan- and letting it soar!

Yael- now that I have internet access here at school, and we often have short few minute breaks, I've been checking up on your blog more often... and ur kiddles are really cutie! I remember that even when we came by on Sukkos Yisroel was so absorbed w/ his clicks... it's a fine obsession for now, I think! Have a good one, Yael!
