The Yungers visit "Gan Gooroo"
This week, we took a trip up North for two days. Our first stop, on the way up North, was to "Gan Gooroo"- an Australian zoo near Beit Shean. Since Yisrael enjoyed the kangaroos so much at the zoo, we decided to check out this place, which has all sorts of Australian animals- koalas, wallabies, and of course, kangaroos! They actually has an area where you can go in and pet the kangaroos. We got to feed them too! It was really fun! Bruria was a little scared - but if they were not too close, she really enjoyed watching. We even got to see some "Joey's" climbing in and out of their mother's pouches!

There was also another area where we could go in and pet rabbits. Bruria had no problem petting them- as long as the creature is smaller than her!

Stay tuned- I've got some great videos to follow!

My smart little baby
I apologize that I don't give Azriel Shraga as much mention in this blog...DON'T think its because he's not cute...its just that his older siblings usually steal the limelight.
In any case, this Shabbos he did something that I MUST brag about. Anyone who has been by us on Shabbos has probably seen how Bentzi dances with the kids when he sings Shalom Aleichem (this 'minhag' started when Yisrael was just a baby himself...now its a little harder, considering that everyone wants to be held, and they all got heavier!) When Bentzi came home this week, I was nursing AS on the couch. But as soon as he heard Benzi start singing, he stopped nursing, and started climbing over me, calling Bentzi's attention, as if to say, "Me too!"
I can't believe he recognized the tune, and knew to associate that tune with dancing! What a little smarty-pants!
