A Chol Hamoed Carnival
Beitar put together a great little carnival for the kids over Chol Hamoed, with rides and jumping castles. We had a very nice afternoon. Yisrael saw the advertisement, and couldn't wait to go on the train...I hope he wasn't dissappointed in the actual train ride, which made a few circles in the parking lot. He also got to go in a helicopter. Bruria said she wanted to go too, but as soon as she sat down, she started screaming! Well, at least she enjoyed the jumping castles!

Azriel Shraga playing in the mud
Well his big brother has trained him well- and now Azriel Shraga LOVES to play with mud (and eat it too!) Whenever he sees the door to the yard open, he scoots over there as fast as his arms and legs will get him there!

(for all you who are about to criticize me for being a bad mother- I DO NOT approve of my son eating mud, but some things are just beyond my control!)
Chometz Dance
Bubbie, this one is for you!
(Please pardon our Israeli cha-METZ pronunciation, when I said CHA-metz, Yisrael corrected me, "No Mommy, it is called cha-METZ, not CHA-metz!" - and he's probably right, dikduk-wise!)

My little helper
With Pesach around the corner, I've been pretty busy, so I haven't had much time to blog...but I wanted you to see my little "helper" I've got. Bruria LOVES to clean- she does dishes, sponga, she puts away laundry and toys (not exactly the way Mommy would do it, but she's learning!). I hope that in a few years she'll be a real helper!
(Now don't get the wrong idea...she is also VERY good at making messes!)

Our "new" hammock
One of our neighbors moved to Yerushalayim, and since they won't have a yard there, they gave us their hammock. (They said that if and when they ever move back, they'll want it back - but between you and me, that's not happening so fast).
The kids have been loving this new "swing"- I can put in all three at once - I even joined them once, but I was too scared it would break....
Can you see the animals in this picture?
The zoo had one real unique exhibit..can you find the animals in this picture?
Yisrael the Kangaroo
There was a really nice kangaroo exhibit in the zoo. We spent a while watching them- it was fun to see them jumping around and we even some joey's kicking around inside!
Once we left the exhibit, Yisrael started jumping like a kangaroo- without anyone telling him to- I must say he did a pretty good job! He kept jumping like that for a while- but poor Bruria got frustrated when she couldn't do it!

A trip to the Zoo
We went to the zoo with Savta, and we had a really nice time! We saw lots of animals- monkeys, bears, lions, parrots, kangaroos, and more! We also visited the farm in the zoo, where we fed the goats (Yisrael was very excited to feed them until they slobbered all over his hand!)
I got a REALLY cute video of Yisrael jumping like a kangaroo, I'll post that one separately.

Yes, I've been negligent...
I have to aplogize. Things have been very busy over here ( Purim, a visit from Savta, and now Pesach...) and I just haven't had the time to sit down and blog. I haven't even downloaded any pictures from my camera in WEEKS. But at least I've been taking pictures, so I do have what to blog about!
I'll try to do some now...
Enjoy!
